No Infiltration reported, significant drop in drone incidents: IG BSF Jammu
Assures protection of civilians, strong retaliation to nefarious elements

Srinagar, Dec 05 : Asserting that the forces successfully maintained peace along the International Border (IB) in the Jammu frontier, Inspector General (IG) of the BSF D K Boora and said no infiltration was reported along the border with Pakistan in the past year.
In a response to recent ceasefire violations from the Pakistan side, DK Boora, Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), Jammu Frontier said that no infiltration was reported along the border with Pakistan in the past year and stated that there has been a significant decrease in the number of drone-dropping incidents in the region.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, IG BSF Boora said that the actions taken by Pakistan received a resolute response from the Indian side.
He highlighted the duty of the BSF to protect the civilian population, ensuring they live without fear. “Despite challenges posed by closed mountain ways due to snowfall, BSF's focus remains on making the international border seal-proof," IG BSF added.
"We will not allow anyone with nefarious intentions to set foot on Indian soil, he said.
Regarding three ceasefire violations since November, IG Boora mentioned that the response from the Indian side has resulted in significant losses for Pakistan.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by the border population due to ceasefire violations, he assured that the BSF's primary effort is to maintain peace, but a similar response will be given if Pakistan persists.
He said no infiltration incidents have occurred along the International Border (IB) in the last year.
"Despite two to three attempted infiltrations, all were successfully neutralized in well-executed operations. Troops managed to foil attempts of three Pakistani smugglers who tried to smuggle narcotics into our territory," he added.
"BSF makes strategies for every weather, reviewing them every 2-3 months. Our preparedness is dynamic, adapting to different seasons and situations, IG BSF Jammu added.
