A patient with coronavirus symptoms and travel history to Hungary escaped from Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar on Wednesday evening but was brought back later.
The patient was admitted to CD hospital on Tuesday and his sample has been sent for testing.
The patient, however, escaped from the hospital today afternoon.
However , the patient was brought back to the hospital later.
“Tracked. Admitted again Legal action to follow,” Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Shahid Choudhary Tweeted.
The patient, according to doctors, is a ‘strong suspected case’ and the result of his test is awaited.
A total of 23 patients have been admitted in CD hospital in past one week while two patients, who tested positive, are being treated in the isolation ward.
Last week also, a female patient suspected of coronavirus, had escaped from the hospital. A returnee from Saudi Arabia, she was later traced and readmitted. Her test reports came out to be negative.
