Srinagar-Jammu highway remained open for two-way traffic on Sunday with light motor vehicles (LMVs) plying from both sides of the road.
A traffic official said LMVs from both sides plied on the 264-km highway on Sunday.
He said stranded trucks on the highway had been cleared and there were no more vehicles stranded on the road.
The official said, subject to weather conditions, traffic would ply from both sides of the road on Monday.
Earlier this week, the highway was closed for the vehicular traffic after heavy rains triggered landslides and mudslides on the road at several places.
The highway was reopened for traffic Thursday evening, and, on Friday, one-way traffic plied on the road. KNS
