Eleven men in uniform including 5 policemen were injured in different accidents in Kashmir Valley.
Official sources said that a bullet proof vehicle of Jammu Kashmir Police turned turtle at Kansipora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district resulting in the injuries of five cops who were shifted to hospital for treatment.
At least four Border Security Personnel were injured, two of them seriously when a speedy BSF vehicle in which they were present turned turtle in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday morning.
Official sources told Kashmir News Trust that a speedy BSF vehicle (PB65AK-3179) turned turtle when the driver lost control over it. Four BSF personnel sustained injuries among them the condition of two are stated to be critical.
Sources added that the incident occurred between Kaweri and Wadhpora area near a bridge. The BSF vehicle after turning turtle at Kaweri Bridge landed into a filed.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Dragmulla Hospital.
In Keran sector, a soldier whom police identified as Deepak Singh was injured when an army vehicle turned turtle. He was rushed to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
