PDP responsible for deteriorating law and order situation in Valley: Omar Abdullah

Former Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah Sunday said Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) politics of rhetoric, deceit and broken promises was to be blamed for the deteriorating law and order situation and rising alienation in the Valley.

Addressing party workers on 24 th death anniversary of former NC leader Wali Mohammad Itoo in Kulgam, Omar said that PDP declined the unconditional offer of NC for forming the government in 2014 and joined hands with Bhartiya Janta Party to formalize an erstwhile informal alliance.

“The repercussions of that decision are here for all of us to see and the costs have been enormous,” he said.
