Srinagar, March 20:

The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah termed the parliamentary elections as drama saying National Conference and PDP are two sides of the same coin “who can stoop to any low for achieving power.”
“Till yesterday, Tariq Karra used to lash out at National Conference and today campaigns for the same party. This is the height of opportunism and to expect any good from these people is a folly,” he said.
“Though we know these elections are sham but we still challenge the authorities to let us meet the people and everything will be clear,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shabir Ahmad Shah expressed grief over the sad demise of the mother of Syed Faiz Naqashbandi and extended condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
On Shah’s directions, a delegation comprising Er Farooq Ahmad Khan and Molvi Bashir Ahmad visited the deceased’s residence and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
