The Srinagar-Jammu highway would witness one-way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar on Sunday.
Officials of the Traffic department said movement of traffic on the highway would be allowed from Jammu to Srinagar on Sunday and no vehicle would be permitted to ply from the opposite direction.
Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) owners have been asked to cross the Nagrota junction before 11 am following which Heavy Motor Vehicles would be allowed to ply on the highway.
Meanwhile, Srinagar-Leh highway, Anantnag-Kishtwar road and Mughal Road continued to remain closed for vehicular traffic due to accumulation of several feet of snow and slippery road conditions.
As per the Metrological department officials no major snowfall is expected for the next 3-4 days in Kashmir.
“Another spell of lesser intensity snow and rains is likely to the hit Valley parts from January 20 to 22,” an official said.
