Despite the improvement in weather, the link roads in most parts of the valley have not been cleared by authorities yet.
The residents of South Kashmir Pulwama district said that their villages are still disconnect with the headquarters.
The villagers of Sangerwani, Sonubanger, and Killer, Bihama, Hajin, Tral and adjoining villages said they are facing immense hardships due to non clearance of snow from the roads.
Similar reports were also received from Beerwah Budgam, where residents complained that the link roads in the area have not been cleared yet.
The snow has not been cleared from key roads including Beerwah- Punzoo, Beerwah -Zabhul.
Residents of Handwara and Villgam in border district of Kupwara also complained that the link roads in the areas are still closed due to which they are facing trouble.
The residents of Haril,Drungsoo, Khuri, Kukroosa, Kalipora, Golipora, surajpora and other villagers said authorities have completely failed to clear the link roads in the area,
They said only main link roads in these areas has been cleared by the authorities
“How could we reach hospitals when link roads in these villages area are closed with heavy snow,” they said.
It is important to mention that elderly man allegedly die in Langate area on Thursday as the link road in the area was not cleared. (KNS)
