Ruling alliance Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Thursday termed the statement of Industries Minister Chander Prakash Ganga as his personal view.
Ganga had said that “Bullets are the only way to deal with the stone throwers in Kashmir as they are traitors”.

Speaking to Rising Kashmir, BJP’s senior leader Ashok Koul said that “It was his personal statement and party has nothing to do with it.”
“Ganga gave this statement in his personal capacity,” he clarified, when asked about the stand of BJP with regard to the stone pelting and troubling situation in Kashmir.
Koul said that “Whatever is happening in Kashmir is very unfortunate. We have sympathy with the people.”
“Some youth are being misled in Kashmir. Especially Pak sponsored people are creating trouble in valley. BJP has always defended the interest of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
When asked whether party will seek explanation from Ganga, he said, they will ask him.
