Rising Kashmir News

The Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a complete shutdown and blackout on December 10 in view of International Human Rights Day.

The leadership, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a press statement said, “On Dec 10, the International Human Rights Day, Kashmiris will observe a complete shut down and blackout against gross human rights violations in the Kashmir valley.”

The leadership said that a protest rally will also be taken out from Lal Chowk towards UN Observers’ Office at Sonwar.

They said a seminar to highlight miseries of Kashmiris will also be held on December 09, 2017.

The leadership also instructed the people to stage peaceful protests after Friday prayers against the USA’s decision to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

“Jerusalem represents the religious sentiments of about a billion Muslims living across the globe. The US decision to declare this sacred land as the capital of Israel, amounts to political bankruptcy of fascist Trump regime,” the leadership said.
