Four residential houses gutted in fire at Uri

Four residential houses were gutted and as many as cattle died in a massive fire incident at Lachipora Uri, in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday, police said. 
 
SDPO Uri Javed Ahmad Shah informed Rising Kashmir that in this blazing inferno at least seven families have been affected at Gawas Lachipora area of Uri. 
 
The police official identified the affected families as Haji Abdullah Mugal son of Dost Mohd Mugal, Mohammad din Mugal son of  Abdullah Mugal, Gh Mohd Mugal son of Manah Mugal, Dost Mohd Mugal son of Yar Mohd Mugal, Jabber Mugal son of Yar Mohammad Mugal, Fateh Mohammad Mugal son of Yar Mohammad Mugal and Shah Begum wife of Ahmad Ali Mugal, all residents of Gawas Pati, Lachipora Uri. 
 
Police said that the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. 
 
The local residents however said that the fire completely destroyed the houses as there is no fire service station in the area. The nearest and only fire service station is at Uri town, some 18 kilometres away from Lachipora village.
