DSEJ hosts webinar on ‘behavioural issues in children'

Directorate of School Education, Jammu, is going to organize a webinar on the topic 'Emotional and Behavioural Issues in Children' on June, 20, 2020, (11:15 AM) for students, teachers, parents of students and other stakeholders.

Divulging on underlining aim of the event, Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta said that the situation created by COVID-19 pandemic and the additional stress on students because of the class 10th result declared a few days back and the 12th class examination result which is to be declared in coming days has necessitated organising a webinar which should cater the mental issues of students and others.
“The aim is to address the issues related to mental health, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention, childhood disorders etc. and providing tips to students, their parents and teachers so as to enable them to tackle the situation in a better and prepared way” she added.
Dr. Deepa Mohan, consultant clinical psychologist and Associate Professor at GITAM University will be the resource person for the webinar. He would also take queries from the students and other staff members.
