Srinagar unit of Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) has started health screening of inhabitants of Achan area of District Srinagar under the National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, CVD.
The department will be screening all the residents of Achan area to ascertain their health status.
A statement issued here said that till now three camps have been organized at Breawar, Tangbagh and Saidpora.
“A total of 1000 persons have been screened by a team of doctors from district Srinagar, NPCDCS and IDSP unit of Srinagar.”
The patients have been screened for various ailments and are being given free medicines also while as documented patients have been advised to approach nearest health centerfor further evaluation and follow up.
