Covid-19: Compounding problems

Waiting with much concern of when to bring the news in public domain and sensing widespread condemnation by a common Kashmiri. Then came the COVID pandemic to their rescue and as a blessing in disguise for them all and everything settled on its own keeping skepticism to its lowest ebb.

The new domicile law for Jammu and Kashmir holds everything but nothing for Kashmiris. Those hollow and false promises made by both pseudo mainstreamers as well as by the close kiths of central union were shattered when the news first surfaced in media with everyone sharing his/her opinion that this was not the time to make it public if even they would have to maintain this stand on it, but not now.

Everywhere in the world, even the biggest of economies and inter-governmentaland inter-ministerial agencies, research fraternities, doctors and above all commoners were thinking strategies of how to come out of the deadly COVID pandemic.

The ministerial agencies from this end were very busy in making the final changes to the domicile law for Jammu and Kashmir. They would have been thinking over of how to put in place biggest and stringent of efforts to contain the condemnation by Kashmiri unemployed youth on making the domicile document public and if they would have been successful in it, they could have never been so, but they have done it otherwise now and are much satisfied in dealing with this as they feel it now, because no one came out, the reason is known to all of you, lockdown due to Covid pandemic.

No force required, no pellet guns, no additional deployment of forces to disperse the mob, because they are confident enough that no can move an inch, not due to their efforts but people are desperate to maintain that decorum and discipline as biggest threat is looming large over their heads. This is the state of affairs that Government of India holds in disseminating their services to common people.

Even the worst of economies world over are busy in dealing with the pandemic of coronavirus and strategizing their efforts of how to get over this tide of uncertainty. Indian politicians were staying indoors not in fear of getting infected to disease, but making the final domicile paper very final for desperate Kashmir’s.

Whether they contain the deadly virus from creeping over into the whole of India and badly affecting the economy, they are pretty much confident and happy that they had contained the even bigger threat of Kashmiri’s who could have been on the roads on hearing this another controversial decision from public authorities of India.

The defunct healthcare system existing in India can provide care facilities to not more than few lakh during this harsh takeover by coronavirus. Government authorities sitting inside the tight junctions of parliament are hardly having a look over it, but they are putting their every effort in taking benefit of this time to clear all their pending assignments without any much fervorand hindrance from the public who are themselves fighting with this virus with all the no facilities they have been provided with.

With 55000 odd ventilators they have all over India and with population of more than 130 Crores, what one can expect from authorities at helm who are claiming of leaving no stones unturned to keep the disease to its lowest low.

Yes, the general Indian masses have been put to task to bell thalli’s and now they have been advised again by Modi government to light a candle or a diya, they call it on 5th of April at 9 PM for 9 minutes to give a warm welcome to coronavirus into mainland India. They know we are hapless to general masses and we can do nothing for them than to make then idiots by giving it a communal and religious shape.

We the all Kashmiris know they could never do anything good to us than destroying us socially, economically, aesthetically, psychologically, religiously and more so making us feel refuges in own land.

We are certainly feeling now refugees in our native land owing to harsh stand taken by Modi government to quell the voice of common Kashmiri. But we can do nothing, we have done nothing and we could hardly do anything now given the circumstances we are going through. They may consider it a victory to them, but the real victory is yet to come, because we have suffered heavily at their hands since past a century now.

They are time and again making their people fools by giving a Kashmiri taste to their political activities, surely they are making them fools and people will acknowledge it not by now but the time is yet to come.

By compounding the problems of common Kashmiri, they can taste nothing good but the worst is yet to come for them and they will certainly feel very helpless and isolated at that moment. They have to rethink their Kashmiri policy, if not now, but soon.

I hope and I am pretty much confident that general Indian public policy will change if it survives this pandemic crisis that I think they certainly will not. They are easily taking a common Indian for a ride, but not a Kashmiri and I am sure this COVID pandemic will certainly take whole India for a ride and they will then repent of their past doings.

We are hopeful that this uncertainty with tide over as Allah mentions in Holy Quran: La tahzanInnalahaMa’ana, (Tawbah 9:40), “Don’t be sad, Allah is with us”.
