COVID-19: 4 more die, JK toll 105

 Three persons from Kashmir and one from Jammu died of coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the death toll in J&K to 105.
As per the officials, a 50-year-old woman from Eidgah, Srinagar, who earlier tested positive for the novel coronavirus died at SKIMS Srinagar Wednesday morning.
The SKIMS officials said the deceased was admitted at the institute’s infection disease block on June 19 with hypertension, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.
Two deaths were reported at the Chest Disease Hospital, Srinagar.
Medical Superintendent CD Hospital, Dr Salim Tak said one persons was from Sopore, Baramulla and the another was a resident of Bijbhera, Anantnag.
Both the deceased were above 70-years-old and were admitted on June 24 and were cases of bilateral pneumonia coupled with other comorbidities.
The fourth COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu.
With four new deaths, the death toll in JK has soared to 105 including 92 from Kashmir and 13 from Jammu division.
According to the government, Srinagar has witnessed 25 deaths, Baramulla 17, Kulgam 13, Shopian 12, Anantnag and Jammu eight each, Budgam seven, Pulwama four, and Bandipora, Udhampur, Kathua, Poonch, Doda and Rajouri one each.
