The death toll due to Corona has reached 498 as six more patients who were tested positive for this deadly virus died in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Officials said that six patients who died include a 25-year-old man from Dangiwachi Baramulla, a 78-year-old man from Lal Bazar Srinagar, a 68-year-old man from Rainawari Srinagar, a 60-year-old man from Nawabazar Srinagar, a 70-year-old man from Marhama Anantnag and a 50-year-old woman from Larkipora Anantnag.
An official at SKIMS said that a 25-year-old male from Dangiwachi Baramulla who was admitted on 11 August died on Wednesday.
He said that a 78-year-old man from Lal Bazar Srinagar who was admitted on 24 July also died on Wednesday.
An official from SMHS said that a 68-year-old-man from Rainawari who was admitted on 06 August with COPD, bilateral Pneumonia and other ailments died on Wednesday.
He further added that a 60-year-old man from Nawabazar Srinagar who was admitted on 04 August with pneumonia died on Wednesday.
An official from GMC Anantnag said that a 70-year-old man from Marhama Anantnag and a 50-year-old woman from Larkipora Anantnag who were undergoing treatment from past many days died on Tuesday.
With six more deaths, the death toll due to COVID-19 in J&K has reached to 498 including 461 from Kashmir division and 37 from Jammu division—(KNO)
