Says party workers should not be afraid of anything

Srinagar, March 20:

Senior PDP minister, Imran Raza Ansari Monday hinted at getting tacit support from the central government for the upcoming Parliamentary by-polls in the state.
Speaking at a party convention here, Ansari said PDP workers should not be afraid of anything as the party has already entered into an alliance with those who are sweeping all the elections in India. “Asi chu gur kormut galwaan se hawaal,” he said in Kashmir, adding that PDP workers shouldn’t be afraid of anyone.
Hitting out at NC Working President, Omar Abdullah, he said: “Only God knows how Omar Abdullah won Beerwah seat in 2014 assembly elections.”
He alleged that Omar has not visited Beerwah even once after elections. “He (Omar) has outsourced Beerwah constituency to Tanvir Sadiq who seldom thinks about or addresses people’s woes.”
Appealing party workers to work hard for the elections, he said PDP candidate Nazir Khan is not an outsider for the party.
“He had just gone out of his home for some years and has returned back. People who think NC will be voted into the parliament are ignoring the ground reality,” Ansari added.
