The government on Friday said nearly 2000 teachers from all district of the Jammu Kashmir would be utilized for assistance of administration in the management of coronavirus.
Besides the teachers, the government said the committee constituted in assisting administration would also depute a district programmer and two data entry operators for the purpose.
Principal Secretary to the Government for School Education Department, Asgar Samoon has also directed all the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Jammu Kashmir to constitute a district-level monitoring and coordination committee.
“The volunteers so identified shall be providing assistance to administration in COVID-19 management in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
“All CEOs shall constitute a district level monitoring and coordination committee. District programmer and two data entry operators and 100 teacher volunteers each will provide assistance to administration in COVID-19 management,” Samoon tweeted.
He said that divisional-level monitoring would be done by the respective directors of the School Education department.
Samoon had directed all the CEOs to comply the instructions and furnish the compliance report by April 3 till 4 pm.
Officials of the department said the committed had deputed two masters, one ICT, CAL teacher and one EMIS coordinator in all districts of Jammu Kashmir.
