Jammu, Nov 05: Hitting hard on National Conference (NC) for promoting familialism and VIP culture in politics of Jammu and Kashmir, AamAadmi Party's Kashmir province inchargeDr.Ghulam Mustafa Saturday said that ‘AamAadmi’ (common man) of Jammu and Kashmir is now with AamAadmi Party to end “familialism, befooling politics.”
In a press statement, Dr.Ghulam Mustafa, said that NC is promoting familialism in Jammu and Kashmir which is disastrous for politics.
He gave a reference to the recent announcement of forty seven assembly incharges of National Conference in Kashmir and said that the list of these assembly incharges is dominated by those who are from political families and this shows that familialism is on peak in NC.
"There is nothing wrong if a person from a political background is given responsibility but there is wrong if most of the people in a unit are from same background and this shows that on one hand NC is beating drums for pro-people politics but is propagating familialism in real which is unfortunate side of story," Dr.Ghulam Mustafa said.
He further said, "Most of the assembly incharges announced recently are from families considered VIP and have bureaucratic background and this again shows that NC is promoting VIP culture in politics of Jammu and Kashmir and the space for a common man in party's politics is minimal."
On the other hand, he said, the AamAadmi Party gives opportunity to a common man and AAP has shown this in recently constituted units of Jammu and Kashmir.
"We are having common men, professional people, senior citizens, youth activists, social activists, senior politicians in our units which make our units dynamic in nature having representation from all sections and importantly a common man gets all opportunities in AAP," said Dr.Ghulam Mustafa.
