Natural birth or vaginal delivery or normal delivery is the natural route of delivery unless cesarean section is indicated. Discuss with your treating Obstetrician the pros and cons of both routes of delivery. And if cesarean is indicated choose Regional anesthesia instead of General Anesthesia, General Anesthesia has certain indications and your anesthetist  is the best person to decide it at time of your Preanesthetic check up (PAC). Spinal anesthesia or epidural anesthesia does not cause Low Back Ache (kamar doud).

There are obvious advantages of regional anaesthesia, including avoiding the problem of a difficult airway (common in pregnancy due to physiological and anatomical changes of pregnancy), avoidance of multiple drugs required for general anaesthesia as well as allowing You to be awake to witness the delivery of your baby thus enabling you to participate and enjoy the birthing experience.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists in the United Kingdom has proposed that more than 95% of elective caesarean deliveries and more than 85% of emergency caesarean deliveries should be performed using regional anaesthetic techniques.
