Meri Maati Mera Desh: Amrit Kalash Yatra pays tribute to brave veers in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 24: In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary initiative, the “Meri  Maati Mera Desh: Amrit Kalash Yatra” campaign, a program was organized on Sunday to honor the valiant “VEERS” who made the supreme sacrifice for our nation.
 
The solemn event took place at the Government Boys High School in Balhama, Srinagar, where prominent dignitaries and local communities gathered to pay their respects.
 
Among the distinguished attendees were Shivam Chandra, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Khanmoh, Firdous Baba, Chief of the Kashmir Students’ Society (KSS), Mohd. Gulam Hussan, Block Development Council (BDC) Member from Khanmoh, Er. Aijaj Hussain, District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Khanmoh, and Shahnawaz Ahmed, Panchayat Secretary
 
The event’s successful organization was the result of meticulous efforts by A.K. Singh, 2nd-In-Command of the 75th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in collaboration with Block Officer Khanmoh.
 
Shivam Chandra, the BDO, addressed the gathering, which included locals, teachers, and students, shedding light on the significance of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” program.
A.K. Singh, the 2nd-In-Command of the 75th Bn CRPF and Nodal Officer Khanmoh, spoke about the various components of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh: Amrit Kalash Yatra” initiative. He highlighted elements such as “Panch Pran,” the pledge, “Vasudha Vandan,” and “Veeron ka Vandan,” all designed to honor the gallant sacrifices made by our brave heroes.
 
The presence of dignitaries from the local civil administration, along with the support and facilitation by K K Pandey, Commanding Officer of the 75th Bn CRPF, and Alok Veer, Commanding Officer of the 21st Bn CRPF, were appreciated by the local populace, media, and all those in attendance. These collaborative efforts ensured that the program was conducted with the dignity and respect befitting those who gave their all for our beloved nation. (KNS)
