Manzoor Bhat pays tributes to Sufi scholar Alama Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA)

He has teached thousands of students in Kashmir and will be remembered for his great work

 JK Youth Care Foundation Chairman and noted social  activist Manzoor Bhat Tuesday paid rich tributes to Sufi scholar Hazrat Syed Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA) and said that he was ambassador of peace.

In a statement, Bhat said Hazrat Moulana Syed Qasim Shah Bhukhari (RA)  was among the first persons who setup  Arabic college in Srinagar and had written over 100 books on Islamic preachings during his entire life.

While paying to flowing tributes to noted Sufi scholar along with other members of group, he said such scholars born once in centuries and devoted his entire life for Islam.

He has teached thousands of students in Kashmir and will be remembered for his great work.

Bhat said sufism has been the main stay of Kashmiri culture and ethos for centuries, role of teachings of Sufis like Syed Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA) in shaping the socio-cultural milieu of Kashmir was immense.

He said Syed Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA) message of brotherhood and peace is still relevant as it will continue for centuries.

Apart from authoring several books , he also translated the holy Quran in Kashmiri translation.

Bhat said Alama Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA)  devoted his entire life for the edification of numerous scholars, students.

Youth Care Foundation Chairman said said Kashmir  is blessed by great Sufi saints like Syed Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA) , who preached the message of love, peace and affection and there is a need to spread this message of humanity and tolerance.
