Srinagar, Nov 15:   Kashmir Traders United Forum and Kashmir Economic Alliance have paid rich tributes to the late Ghulam Muhammad Dar, former senior leader of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation, on his 21st birthday.

 

Kashmir Traders United Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar Recalling Gulam Mohammad Dar as a sincere business leader, a man of good character and a philanthropist.Dar said that the work done by the late for the welfare and unity of the business community is the lesson for leadership of today. Dar said that the late fought for the rights of traders and businessmen at the forefront.

 

Addressing the condolence meeting, the acting chairman of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation faction Muhammad Rajab Kucchai also paid homage to the late Ghulam Muhammad Dar on his death anniversary and termed him a symbol of unity and harmony. He said that besides being an honest trader, he was always active in making the trading platform efficient and stable.

 

KTUF vice-chairman Fayaz Ahmed Bhat said that he had always heard from his elders about the leadership ability of the late, how he had saved the voice of the traders from being heard in the desert and he was always at the forefront of solving problems.

 

Kashmir Economic Alliance Chairman Muhammad Yousuf Chapri in a telephonic address to the condolence meeting paid homage to the late Ghulam Muhammad Dar by calling him a resourceful and business-friendly leader. Senior trade leaders Abdur Rehman Sufi, Haji Nisar and Merajuddin Khan, Nazir Ahmad Shah and others were also present in the condolence meeting.
