Ganderbal, Nov 26: Jammu & Kashmir Bank on Wednesday installed a new Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) at its Branch Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, to enhance customer convenience and strengthen banking services in the region.
The machine was inaugurated in the presence of Tehsildar Gund, the Zonal Head of J&K Bank, the Cluster Head, Branch Manager of J&K Bank Gund, officials of the bank and local residents.
Speaking during the inauguration, the Zonal Head of J&K Bank said, “The installation of the CRM will streamline banking operations and allow customers to deposit and withdraw cash 24×7, reducing the dependency on counters and saving valuable time.”
Tehsildar Gund appreciated the initiative and said, “This move will greatly benefit the public, particularly during emergencies and rush hours. We hope such facilities continue to expand across the region.”
Locals hailed the development, calling it a much-needed service. “The CRM at Gund branch is a big relief for us. It will help avoid long queues and make transactions easier,” said a resident present at the event.
Bank officials reaffirmed their commitment to improving banking services across Ganderbal, stating that they will continue to work for customer comfort and better accessibility to modern banking facilities.
