M Raju reviews preparations for opening of Move offices in Sgr
Srinagar, Apr 03: The commissioner secretary Estates and Jal Shakti, M. Raju today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for opening of Darbar Move offices in summer capital Srinagar.
The commissioner secretary enjoined upon all the concerned officers to ensure all civil and other allied works are completed on time. He directed that all employee colonies should be properly cleaned and comprehensive face-lifting be carried out in a planned manner well before the opening of offices here.
He also inspected the ongoing works at the civil secretariat and directed the concerned executing agency to expedite their pace.
A statement said, the meeting was informed that the works like face-lifting and repair/renovation works have already been started. Besides, the important civil and allied works of other estates colonies housing Darbar Move employees are also being taken up.
Similarly, private hotels/ guest houses hired for accommodation of Darbar Move employees have also been inspected by the designated committee for further allotment.
The commissioner secretary directed the concerned to sensitize the management of the private hotels in view of COVID-19 to put all measures in place for the cleanliness of rooms and surroundings.
He also asked the concerned officers that special focus be given to ensure that the drinking water tanks at civil secretariat and in the residential areas are cleaned.
Among others, deputy director Estates, Kashmir, executive engineer Estates Division, Srinagar, representative of R&B Project Circle Division-I, Estates Officer civil secretariat were also present.
