The Postgraduate and under-graduate doctors of SKIMS Bemina on Saturday staged a protest demonstration at Press Colony Srinagar and were demanding resumption of Inpatient Department (IPD) and Operation theater (OT) in the hospital.

 According to the protesting junior doctors authorities have designated the hospital as Covid-19  hospital last year and since the it is functioning as Covid-19 hospital due to which the practice of junior doctors are getting effected.

They said from last two months hospital is getting very less positive cases and the authorities should resume the normal functioning of the hospital, so they can continue their practice smoothly.

Protesters urged authorities to resume the normal function of the hospital at the earliest.
