CJM Sgr summons Spicejet for non-cooperation in investigation
The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Srinagar on Friday issued summon to Spicejet for non-cooperation in an investigation regarding sale of tickets at inflated prices.
According to the statement, Crime Branch said that summons were issued against Satyajit Mohapatra, sales head Spicejet north sector, Case FIR no. 03/2020, u/s 420, 468, 471, 409, 120-B, IPC registered in crime branch Kashmir regarding the sale of tickets at inflated prices to customers through travel agents, who in connivance with airlines staff create an artificial scarcity of tickets.
The court directed the sales manager to produce the relevant data within a span of 15 days failing which a warrant against him will be issued, the statement said.
However, it has been learnt from reliable sources that authorities of Spicejet were not co-operating with the investigation process.
