Traders seek loan interest waive-off
Kashmir Trade Alliance has demanded interest waive-off of the loans stating the business community has suffered losses since Aug 05, 2019.
In a statement, President Kashmir Trade Alliance Ajaz Shahdhar while hailing the extension of lockdown by government said trade community should be compensated properly.
He said lockdown is in the interest of people as it will help them remain safe from getting infected by Covid 19.
Kashmir Trade Alliance further appealed the trade community and the general public to make the lockdown successful so that lives can be saved.
"The Govt should also provide financial assistance to the people below poverty line so that they can feed their family during these hard days. The business community of Kashmir is already suffering huge losses since 5th August 2019."
He said the Govt should take necessary steps to give some sort of relief by waiving off the interest on their loans.
"The Govt should provide some financial assistance to small traders so that they are able to revive their businesses after lockdown."
