Official sources told Rising Kashmir that a sizeable number of employees have failed in the reverification process who had managed jobs through “illegal means” and have been put under suspension till further investigation.
In a related case that has come to the force, one teacher in Srinagar has been suspended after it was found during the re-verification of the list that neither his name existed in the selection list nor in appointment order issued on June 12 of 2009, but the teacher managed to work for 13 years and get salaries without any problem.
The government employees, according to a government order issued by the Finance Department today, the DDOs have been asked to withhold the salaries of employees who fail to register on online J&K Human Resource Management System Software with service details for verification and updation.
The government as per the latest order had given all the departments one week’s time to complete the verification process.
Furthermore, some DDOs have disbursed salaries of employees  and the government as per the order, has taken a serious notice of it for further action.
