Srinagar, Mar 11: The District Chess Championships held in different districts of the valley including Budgam, Kulgam, Shopian and Anantnag concluded on Thursday. The championships were organized by the All J&K Chess Association with support from the District Chess Associations and under the supervision of the J&K State Sports Council.
The organizers in a statement said that a total of more than 200 players participated in the championships, with all of the players exhibiting competitive skill and outperforming each other at every step of the way. In the separately held concluding functions, chief guests distributed prizes among the winners and wished all the players luck in the future endeavours.
