DDC Chairman inaugurates work on Dhar Choubia water supply scheme under JJM

Bhaderwah, Sep 23: District Development Council Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, on Friday inaugurated the work on Dhar Choubia Water Supply Scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
The Chairman was accompanied by Vice Chairperson DDC Sangeeta Rani Bhagat, DDC Councillor Thakur Yudhvir Singh, BDC Chairperson Omi chand, ADC Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dilmir, XEN Jal Shakti department Doda, local PRIs and general public of the area.
It was informed that the Water supply scheme Dhar Choubia is bieng developed at an estimated cost of Rs 178.57 lakh and shall cater to the water requirement of Dhara village and part of Choubia area . The source of the WSS is Nandooni Nallah /spring flowing near village Dhara.
The water supply scheme has different components civil (Inlet tank, sedimentation tanks, service reservoirs, filtration plants) and laying and fitting of the pipes for gravity main and distribution system which shall provide 55 FHTC's. The WSS is expected to be completed during the current financial year 2022-23 and on its accomplishment water shall be provided quantitatively and qualitatively to the public under scope.
