Cyber police recover 100 stolen phones

Srinagar, Mar 11: Cyber Police in Kashmir has geared up its task force and intensified efforts to curb online crimes in the Valley.  On Saturday the Cyber wing informed that 100 mobile phones worth Lakhs have been recovered and handed over to  rightful owners.
In a tweet cyber police said, Cyber Police Kashmir recovers hundreds of lost/missing cell phones worth lakhs of rupees which were handed over to rightful owners during a cybercrime awareness programme organized by Cyber Police Station Kashmir.”
 
The Cyber police in Srinagar also organized a special cyber awareness program under the supervision of SP Cyber Ifhtikar Talib at the Cyber Police Station here.
 
The program was designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of various types of cybercrime, including phishing, identity theft, and online fraud.
 
As the event drew to a close, participants expressed their gratitude to the police for organizing such an informative and impactful program. Many pledged to take the lessons learned at the event and apply them in their daily lives, helping to create a safer and more secure digital landscape for all.
