CRPF organizes free medical camp in Eidgah area, benefits 191 residents

Srinagar, July 24: In a commendable effort to extend assistance to the needy and promote health awareness, the 161 Battalion of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) conducted a successful free medical camp under their Civic Action Programme in the Eidgah Area of Srinagar on Monday.
The medical camp was specifically tailored to address the health needs of the local population, offering medical check-ups and consultations by Dr. Annu Arya, Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of GC Srinagar, and Dr. Mir Semiullah, General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) of the 161 Battalion. Additionally, free medicines were generously distributed to those in need.
Supervised by Commandant Balihar Singh, the medical camp saw active participation from the local populace, who interacted with the CRPF personnel and expressed their gratitude for the initiative. Commandant Singh emphasized that the CRPF's commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of the local people remains unwavering.
The medical camp received an overwhelming response from all sections of society, with a total of 191 people, including 49 women and 10 children, benefiting from the initiative. The residents of Srinagar appreciated the gesture of the CRPF personnel and welcomed their dedication to serving the community.
