Lactating mothers should take Covid-19 vaccination anytime after delivery. The vaccine is safe for the mother and the neonate as no complications has been found so far. Though Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Society of India (FOGSI) has recommended the Covid-19 vaccine for pregnant mothers but there are no strong studies which supports it so we are not asking pregnant women for Covid-19 vaccine as of now but lactating mothers shouldn't skip it.
