Committee to examine SHA’s report on AB PMJAY, AB PMJAY SEHAT best practices

Srinagar, Feb 01: J&K Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department has constituted a committee to examine reports on best practices followed by different states for better implementation of AB PM-JAY and AB PM-JAY SEHAT in terms of financial sustainability.
The reports have been prepared by the officers of State Health Agency (SHA), J&K on best practices followed by different States for better implementation of the two schemes.
“Sanction is, hereby, accorded to the constitution of Committee to examine the study report on the best practices followed by different states for better implementation of the two schemes in terms of financial sustainability, so that the same may be considered in Jammu & Kashmir for better implementation of the aforesaid schemes,” the H&ME said in an order.
The five-member committee would be headed by Director Finance, H&ME, Director Coordination, New Medical Colleges J&K as member, Deputy Secretary (A) to the H&ME as member, State Nodal Officer, and State Health Agency as member secretary.  
The committee would submit its report to the State Health Agency within 15 days along with its suggestions and recommendations.
“Consequent upon recipient of the suggestions and recommendations of the committee, the State Health Agency, J&K may place the report before the Governing Council for consideration/approval,” the order said.
