Writing is an act of expression. It is the art of transforming the clutter inside into words. The pen, paper, and silence create a magical ambiance. Writing freezes the thoughts, emotions, and pain on a piece of paper. Writing scripts creativity. Creativity is reality. Words flow like a river. They don’t end. They wash away the souls of the tormented. Writing is a tragedy and it is mystery. It is the beginning and the end. Writing is bliss in pain. Writing is eternity. That is the end of our death. We exist through our words. Writing is forever presence and existence. Writing is a passion.
We are witnessing a new trend. The young minds are getting inclined towards the art of writing. The new generation has proved worthy witnesses by converting tragic experiences and hidden talents into poetry and thus emerged as heroes.
A book titled “Brains in Chains” is a new addition to the masterpieces written by young authors. The book is a collection of 20 poems covering diverse genres and themes. The book has been written by a budding writer and artist Adina Rashid from Anantnag. Adina is a 12th-class science student from Anantnag. The book predominantly highlights the state of mind of a person who is suffering from mental stress. As projected by the author “the book is a result of escapism from the depression and anxiety as the mental health of the youth stands ripped off by the political chaos accelerated by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The book is an attempt to validate the feelings and emotions of the depressed youth through the art of poetry. The poetry has provided a vent to the feeling of the author. The author believes that between attaining perfection and proving ourselves to the world, identity is lost. "Peace is eternal and we need to prioritize the same to live a stress-free life," says Adina.
Some poems in the book "Brains in Chains" are beautifully written to decode the impact of betrayals in friendship. Adina Rashid has put up a serene content to comprehend that we should accept hardships heartily and survive the storms. The author is a torch bearer for the coming generations and inspires the youth to fight the battles of life. The book has also been made available on the online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
As rightly anticipated by Willian H. Gass “The true alchemists do not change lead into gold; they change the world into words,” “Brains in Chains” is a humble effort by Adina Rashid to change the world into words. The author has transformed the painful moment and the toughest times into words. The book is absolutely relatable to the youth and they should read the book to understand the entire scenario. Sooner the better.
