Bank Manager escapes unhurt in Pattan terrorist attack

Srinagar, Oct 03: A non-local bank manager escaped unhurt after suspected terrorists fired upon him in Goshbug Pattan, area of north Kashmir's Baramulla on Monday.
He was identified as Vivek Kumar son of Ashok Kumar resident of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
He was attacked near Grameen Bank Goshbug. As per police, two rounds were fired towards Kumar but luckily he escaped unhurt. 
Following the attack, the joint party of security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the suspected area to nab the culprits, officials said.
A senior police officer told Rising Kashmir that on Monday morning, two unidentified ‘terrorists’ opened fire upon the Bank manager in Goshbug area. No one was injured in the said attack, he said.
"We have started investigation in the case, more details will be shared later" the police officer said.
