Baisakhi celebrated with fervor, gaiety at Aryans

Srinagar, Apr 12: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated Baisakhi with great fervour and gaiety at Aryans Campus with Aryans students of Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Management, Education and Agriculture.
The students and faculty of Aryans enjoyed a vibrant and exhilarating folk dance Giddha and Bhangra. It was a treat to see the students dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional outfits. The youngsters were apprised of the rich culture and heritage of Baisakhi merriments.
The students performed Giddha and Bhangra items in the golden fields near Aryans Campus in colourful traditional dresses to welcome the harvest season. Baisakhi marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh and is traditionally celebrated annually on April 13 or 14. It is seen as a celebration of the spring harvest primarily in Northern India.
