Ayush Singh to represent India in Asia Cup Softball championship

Srinagar, Aug 23: Ayush Singh, Softball Player from J&K will represent India in Asia Cup (Men's) Softball championship scheduled to held at Kochi, Japan from 3rd to 6th September, 2022.

Ayush Singh Softball player from Village Birpur, Samba, Jammu and Kashmir have qualified to represent the country in the International Softball championship.
While the Men's World Cup Softball championship shall be held in New Zealand from 26th November to 4th December, 2022 subject to Indian Softball team should be figuring at Top two teams of Asia Cup.
The selection of the player was done by the selection Committee of Softball Association of India and on the basis of outstanding performance in the Senior National Softball Championship held at Baratpur, Rajasthan.
Earlier Ayush was in India camp which was conducted by Softball Association of India in different states/UT's like Nagpur Maharashta, Anantpur A.P, Puducherry, Bhundi Rajasthan, Aurangabad Maharashtra & presently he in New Delhi for National camp till 27th August, 2022.
Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul, congratulated Ayush Singh & presented Appreciation Award for selection in Indian National Softball team at Jammu on last Saturday.She also assured the selected International Softball player that every possible support will be provided by J&K Sports Council for making his dreams true by achieving great heights in Olympic Sport of Softball.
Waseem Raja Khan General Secretary J&K Softball Association also congratulated Ayush Singh telephonically for selection in Indian team and he also said there is key role of Chaman Lal Bhat Ex.General Secretary of the Association for the development of Softball from grassroot level .Facilitation ceremony for Ayush Singh, coaches/Instructors of Selected player and other senior outstanding Softball players will be arranged on returning of selected player said Waseem Raja Khan. Abdul Rahman Shigan President J&K Softball Association also sends his best wishes to the selected player of Jammu & Kashmir He also requested Softball players to use their carriers in this potential sport which is presently playing in 134 Countries around the world.
