Anantnag, Apr 16: Faizan Shabir, a 16-year-old Sqay Martial Arts prodigy, is making his district proud with his exceptional talent in the sport. Faizan has been passionate about martial arts from a young age and has already earned an impressive collection of gold medals.

Currently a student in the 11th grade, Faizan has proven his mettle in the game with his remarkable ability. He has already earned a dozen gold medals, including seven national and three international gold medals. Faizan recently won the Wizard Hunt Season 1 in the sports category, and also secured a gold medal in the national Sqay Championship held in Jammu.

Faizan’s hard work and dedication paid off when he competed at the 7th South Asian Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal, held from February 3rd to 5th, and won a gold medal. He felt a great sense of pride in representing his country on the international stage and bringing home the gold medal. “When I won the gold medal for my nation, my elation knew no boundaries,” he said.

His impressive track record has led to him being selected to compete at the Asian Championship, which will be held in Malaysia. Faizan is determined to continue to excel in Sqay Martial Arts and hopes to bring home more medals in the future.
