Besides, the school adopts innovative techniques at par with other elite schools to educate the learners. This speciality makes the school unique in its vicinity.

Established in the year 2019, the school has a roll of more than 400 students, with staff strength of more than 30 persons.

The principal of the school Rafiq Ahmad Dar said, “We train the teachers first before going into the classrooms and make them understand the pedagogy and share knowledge with the students. We also invite experts from outside Jammu and Kashmir to train our teachers. Be it teaching, providing moral or Islamic education or memorizing the Holy Quran. Most of the experts who give training to the teachers are from Navodaya Vidyalaya.”

The classrooms are now changing and we are adapting to it, Dar said. He believes that the team in his school can deliver irrespective of the circumstances around. 

The school is providing an ‘Understand Quran Course’ which according to Dar is being taught in schools across north India. They complete this course in a span of five years.

Pertinent to mention, ‘Understand Quran Course’ is a course designed by Dr Abdul Raheem Abdul Aziz and his team at ‘Understand Quran Academy.’ This course has been translated into 20 International languages and is taught in over 25 countries.

Dar further said that Al-Khaliq National Innovative School has become the first of its kind to introduce a special Quranic course with Tajweed, Grammar translation with a complete understanding of Arabic language.

The school adopts an advanced psychological teaching methodology with a scientific approach. Besides regular class inspections, assignment checking and PTC meets, the school is giving remedial classes and capsule work for those students who lag behind and assignment on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for bright students.

Meanwhile, the In-charge girls section of the school Jawahira Akhter said that the safety of students is her fundamental concern owing to the horrifying risks that children face nowadays. “Our objective at Al-Khaliq is to channelize the thinking process of young children and adults in a positive direction, as we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying in a school.”

“Children are natural mimics, who act like their parents or others around them, it is important to be a good role model because attitudes get transferred from one generation to the next,” says Akhter.

One of the management members of the school, Zainab Malik says that the school has been proving influential in terms of exploring the latest scientific oriented educational environment along with moral values. “Recently the school has developed innovative means like the real-time attendance accessible to parents digitally; specific IDs of enrolled students are also available with the parents to monitor the progress of their wards.”
