49th battalion CRPF leads Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 01: In a significant initiative towards fostering a cleaner and more hygienic environment, the 49th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) took a pioneering step in leading the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign in Srinagar's Karan Nagar area. Under the able leadership of R.K. Nigarn, this commendable endeavor witnessed enthusiastic participation from unit officers and jawans, as well as students from the Milad Educational Institute and Higher Secondary School, Sutrasahi.
In an exemplary display of community involvement, members of the Noor-Ul-Huda Welfare Foundation, ISKON temple, and representatives of the local political party J&K All Alliance Democratic Party also joined hands with Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel in this cleanliness drive.
The campaign was meticulously executed, with a primary focus on cleaning the premises of the Milad Educational Institute, Higher Secondary School, and the surrounding public areas in Sutrasahi, Karan Nagar, Srinagar. A total of 250 individuals, comprising officers, and jawans of the 49th Battalion CRPF, came together to actively participate in this initiative, leaving an indelible mark on the cleanliness and hygiene of the area.
