Jammu, July 30: Two days after putting evidence in public domain and exposing sensational scam committed time and again in recruitment process in Fire and Emergency Services department, the AamAadmi Party on Saturday held a protest demonstration outside Press club in Jammu demanding CBI enquiry in the matter and scrapping the recruitment process.
This protest was held by the youth wing of AamAadmi Party as well as ChatraYuvaSangharshSamiti (CYSS) and was led by AmritWattal, a party statement said.
Muktesh Yogi and Mahesh Bakshi with a number of other people associated with these two units of party as well as other locals took part in the protest.
"Two days ago, AAP exposed this biggest recruitment scam which is unique in itself as irregularities have been committed thrice in a single recruitment process," the protesting leaders said.
They added, " Not only the scam has been exposed but all important evidence that establishes the irregularities have been put in public domain so that every citizen in Jammu and Kashmir can come to know how some people with vested interest are playing with the future of youth."
AAP leaders further stated during the protest that Jammu and Kashmir Government is in a criminal silence over this big recruitment scam and not even a single word has been shared by the government or any of the concerned officer despite days after AamAadmi Party exposed the scam.
The protesters also demanded complete safety and security of all the whistleblowers of this big scam and especially the aspirants who are daring to tell everyone about mass scale irregularities that have been committed.
"One aspirant from Kashmir Valley is a whistleblower who has also submitted an affidavit with statement of paying 50000 rupees to a broker and now this aspirant is getting threats and Jammu and Kashmir Government should not only investigate the source of these threats but should also ensure that all the whistle-blowers of scams are provided adequate security." AAP leaders said.
