Will stand shoulder to shoulder with PHE daily wagerson strike: Rajeshwer Singh

Jammu, July 01: Rajeshwer Singh, vice -president of Jammu province Youth National Conference (YNC), Friday said that the GOI and  administration of Jammu and Kashmir UT is paying no attention towards the chaotic situation which has developed due to the ongoing strike of thousands of daily wagers of the Jal Shakti Department.
"The administration must look into the matter and fulfill their long pending  demands relating to regularisation of the daily rated workers, enhancement of Minimum Wages as per UT norms in J&K, Singh Said "Even, Union home minister, claimed during a speech in Jammu that the act had been implemented in the state, but the reality is quite different, enhancement of Medical Allowance of the employees and workers, release of pending wages of 70 months of PHE workers" Singh said.
He slammed the UT administration for the fake promises they have been making to these workers regarding fulfilling their demands, while they take no action after making promises.
"Due to the ongoing strike, people across all 10 districts of the Jammu province are facing water scarcity amid scorching heat. There's a water crisis going on, while the administration is busy ignoring it." Singh said. He blamed the administration for all the chaos.Singh Urged Union Minister and LG fulfil genuine demands of P.H.E Daily wagers without anymore delay.
