Traditional pol parties responsible for backwardness of Poonch: Manjit Singh

Poonch, July 24: Apni Party provincial president Jammu and ex-Minister, Manjit Singh Sunday accused the traditional political parties including BJP, Congress Party, National Conference and PDP for underdevelopment, discrimination and backwardness of Poonch District and its border villages.
He, however, assured equitable development of the district if the Apni Party comes to power.
Continuing to hold a series of political meetings in the border district to strengthen the Party and its cadre, Manjit Singh was addressing Party workers meetings in Poonch which were organized by the District President, and Ex-MLA Shah Mohammed Tantray.
In these meetings, dozens of prominent people including EhsanIlahi, Haji Aslam, Haji Rafiq, FaizZahoor, Mehmod, NazirChoudharyMaharkot and others.
Manjit Singh said that the border districts lack development because of deliberate ignorance of the previous governments which can be witnessed from the poor infrastructural development of roads and other basic facilities.
He said that Apni Party is committed for equitable development of all the Regions of J&K and the villages without any discrimination. He accused the traditional political parties like Congress Party, National Conference, PDP and BJP for misleading the people of Poonch and exploiting them for their vote bank.
