Towheed FC defeats Qamarwari FC by 2:0; IFC Kashmir wins by solitary goal

Srinagar, Sep 20: In an Ongoing Super Division League, Two matches were played on Monday in match first Towheed FC defeated Qamarwari FC by 2:0 while in second match IFC Kashmir defeated FC views by a solitary goal here at Synthetic Turf TRC,Srinagar.
 In a thrilling match Towheed FC defeated Qamarwari FC in the first match by 2:0 goals. 
 As the match started, forwards of both the teams started attacking other’s goalpost to seize an early opportunities.
 In the first half, both teams attacked each other’s goalpost frequently, but the defence lines withheld the pressure and did not allow any goals to be scored.
 In the Second half of the match Towheed FC started with an aggressive note and Umaid managed to score the first goal for the Winning team in the 35th minute.
 The Qammarwari FC tried their best to score an equalizer but failed to do so.
 It was in 55th minute of the second half when Hazik of  Towheed FC doubled their lead by 2:0.
 After taking 2-0 lead, the wining team concentrated on maintaining it till the end of the match.
 Qamarwari FC players desperately tried to score, but failed and when referee blew the final whistle, the score was 2-0 favoring Towheed FC.
In Second match IFC Kashmir defeated FC views by a solitary goal.
 In the closely contested match, forwards of both the teams attacked each others’ goalposts from both the flanks right from the start of the game.
Ishfaq Bashir of IFC Kashmir succeeded in converting a chance into a goal right in the 5th minute of the game thus giving a lead of 1:0 to his team.
 While trailing by a goal, the FC Views players launched counter attacks on the opposite goalpost, but failed to cross the final hurdle.
 The FC Views players missed two clear scoring chances as IFC Kashmir goalkeeper made excellent saves.
 The last 10-minutes of the high-voltage match enthralled the large crowd present at the venue as no team was ready to give any opportunity to the opposite team.
 However, till the referee blew the final whistle, IFC Kashmir was leading by 1-0.
The Tournament is organized by J&K football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
