Throwball coaching camp concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 11: The two-day Throwball coaching camp-cum-championship 2021 concluded at Girls Higher Secondary School Rainawari in Srinagar on Saturday.
More than 80 girls from different schools, clubs and institutions participated in this coaching cum championship and showcased their Throwball skills.
The final match was played between J&K Hussaini Sports Club and Kalashpora School which J&K Hussaini Sports Club by 2-0.
Sheikha Saba, Chairperson of a non-governmental organisation White Globe (WG) was the chief guest on the occasion while members of J&K Throwball Association including Vilayat Hussain, Zahid Hussain, Javeed Akhoon, Aqib Sofi and Shayista Akhter were among guests of honours.
The chief guest distributed medals among the winner and runner up teams and certificates were distributed among all participants.
Saba also encouraged participants and organisers for conducting more of such sports events.
Earlier, a Throwball coaching camp was inaugurated by the Principal, GHSS Rainawari, Kounsar Jabeen.
Later, Secretary, J&K Throwball Association, Ahsan Ali presented a vote of thanks to participants, guests, officials and school management for providing all assistance during the camp.
The coaching camp-cum-championship was organised by J&K Throwball Association in collaboration with Legends School of Education and under the aegis of Throwball Federation of India.
