SSM College launches short-term course on ‘Outcome-based Education’

Srinagar, June 20: A Short-Term Course on “Outcome-based Education for Programme Accreditation” was launched at SSM College on Monday.
According to a statement, the programme is an initiative of AICTE under Magardarshan Scheme, and is implemented by NITTTR Chandigarh.
The programme was attended by Dr. B.S. Pabla, Professor NITTTR Chandigarh, Dr. C. Ramakrishna Professor and Head (CSE) NITTTR ChandigarhDr.SeeshaChalam D Professor BMS COE, Bengaluru, Dr.VaraPrashad Professor BMS COE, Bengaluru, Dr. K.R. Suresh, Professor BMS COE, Bengaluru, Dr. Mala Kalra and others.
On this occasion Prof. C. Ramakrishna and Dr. Mala Kalra spoke about the Margdarshan scheme and its benefits for the mentee institution.
During the course of programme three session shall be conducted on each day and lecture sessions will be held in which resource persons under reference shall be speaking about “Outcome Based Education” for programme accreditation.
Registrar of the College, Prof. N.A. Shah stressed upon participants to take advantage of scheme in the right perspective.
Presenting the vote of thanks Dr.Sajad Hussain Din, Principal expressed the hope that participants and all other stake holders shall benefit themselves fully about “Outcome Based Education”, other parameters required for NBA Accreditation and prepare them for entrepreneurship and job readiness.
