It is a very important element in building one’s self esteem and it tells us how well the individual can cope in various situations.
It is important for a healthy mental well being.

1. MASTERY- Remember Past Successes- How did you handle or solve past problems?
2. MODELING- Model the success of people like you.
3. SOCIAL PERSUASION- Surround yourself with people who will be supportive of you and will encourage and motivate you to achieve your goals.
4. MENTAL STATE- Adopt the right mindset.
