Poor Jio services irk Abadpora residents

Budgam, July 23: The residents of Abadpora area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday expressed dismay over poor calling and internet services offer by Jio cellular network in the area.
The subscribers said that they frequently have to change locations to make calls or accessing internet services.
 
Kaisar Ali, a student, from Abadpora area said that for the past 2 years, the Jio has been offering poor services in the area.” 
To send a simple mail, we have to walk miles, Poor connectivity is adversely affecting our studies,” he added.
"Due to the network issue I have to become an immigrant,” said another local, Viliyat Ali
Irshad Hussain, a teacher, said that nowadays education is fully dependent on internet. “It is equally important for businessmen, social activists and many others. It is unfortunate that despite paying our bills, this company isn’t providing us proper services,” he added.
When contacted, a representative of Jio told Rising Kshmir that the company will soon look into the issue and will resolve it at the earliest.
